Type, U. S. Nat. Mus., No. 106,056, adult (sex not determined), Eastern Peru?
Similar to G. I. lineola but rump and upper tail-coverts much more heavily spotted with black, and general color deeper, more olivaceous, green. Measurements of type.—Wing, 108, tail, 60.5; culmen, 12 mm.
